Agrimix acquire SeedGro: now offering a complete range of pasture seeds
SeedGro is well-known for providing high-quality pasture seed to rural Australia. At Agrimix, we’ve worked closely with SeedGro to provide pasture solutions in a wide range of environments, so we’re pleased to be able to bring our offerings together under one roof.
What does this mean for you? We now have an expanded portfolio of grass seed and pasture mixes and some great SeedGro staff coming across to Agrimix.
Rod Linke will be joining us, taking up the position of National Sales Manager. Rod brings with him a passion for working with farmers to reach their goals with better pastures.
We spoke with Rod about how the relationship between SeedGro and Agrimix first began and what the acquisition means for Seedgro and Agrimix customers.
Last issue, we shared a case study highlighting how Progardes® can play a part in managing pasture dieback. Agrimix Sales Manager Greg Campbell recently paid a visit to another Queensland property using Progardes® to help overcome the effects of dieback…
The photos below show Nigel Onley and Leichhardt Rural’s Bart Stevens inspecting a healthy establishment of this persistent legume that is providing a good source of nutrition for the Onley’s beef cattle.
A word from Master of Pastures, Adam Coffey
“We’ve been seeding Progardes® for several years now. It provides a palatable, nutritious and persistent legume option for us in our high rainfall, clay-based soils.
We renovate paddocks using a direct drill method and find the establishment of Progardes® is very easy.
Working with Agrimix has been an absolute pleasure, we regard their level of expertise and innovation as a real asset to our business.”
